Lol, there seems to be confusion among friends and people of Rivers State, as the actual date and month of birth of Governor Nyesom Wike remains unknown. According to a Facebook account soliciting friends and workers to wish the Governor a happy birthday in different newspapers, the account says the Governor’s birthday will be tomorrow 24th of August which a lot of people in the State also believe to be so. But confusion soon emanated when some people said his date was actually not 24th of August, but another month and date entirely. Another Facebook account also states that he was born on March 12, 1967.
When asked, the Senior Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to the governor said he wasn’t sure of the date. Meanwhile the commissioner for housing in the state also said it was definitely not
August 24th. But Wikipedia which is believed to know ‘all’ gave his birth date as August 24,1964. The question that has however remained on the lips of some Rivers citizens is, when was the Governor born?
