New reports claim just like Solange did, Beyonce also lays hands on Jay Z ,and he does nothing about it.

Boko Haram: Lady In Hijab Caught With Bomb At Murtala Hospital Kano

A woman was caught at Murtala Specialist Hospital Kano around noon Sunday dressed in the Muslim Burkah with a bomb under her robe.
The lady was said to be pretending to want to visit a sick patient. She was dressed in hijab niqaf with socks.
Underneath her hijab she had a bomb strapped.
The bomb was immediately deactivated by security people at the site and the lady was set on fire according to our reporter.

A former Head of State, Gen. Yakubu Gowon (retd.), has taken a swipe at the United States on its refusal to sell arms to Nigeria to fight the insurgency by the Islamic group, Boko Haram.

Gowon, in an interview with SUNDAY PUNCH, criticised the US for not selling military hardware to Nigeria, saying if the US was truly a diplomatic friend to Nigeria, it should do everything possible to keep the corporate existence of Nigeria.

Ibrahim Babajide Obanikoro, son of former Minister of State for Defence and governorship aspirant for Lagos on the platform of PDP, Musiliu Obanikoro, was yesterday evening declared the winner of the party’s primary election for the candidacy of the Lagos State House of Assembly.

Obanikoro polled 18 votes against Muyiwa Ariyo, who got nine votes. The duo battled for the candidacy to represent Eti-Osa Constituency 2 at the House in the forthcoming election.

Pope Francis has taken part in a Muslim prayer alongside the Grand Mufti of Istanbul on the second leg of his three-day visit to Turkey. Francis stood on Saturday morning with his head bowed and hands clasped in front of him in a two minutes of silent prayer inside the 17th-century Sultan Ahmet mosque, aiming to show respect for Islam and encourage stronger ties between the two faiths.

"May God accept it," Rahmi Yaran, the Grand Mufti of Istanbul told the pope at the end of the prayer.

A 75-year-old survivor of the November 28 multiple bomb explosions in Kano, Alhaji Mohammed Isa Tiga, yesterday gave a bloodchilling account of the attack that rocked the city’s Central Mosque, saying he survived by Allah’s grace.

Speaking to Sunday Sun at the Accident and Emergency Unit of the Abdullahi Wase Specialist (Nassarawa) Hospital, the frail-looking man recounted that those responsible for the blasts came in a Toyota Sienna space wagon just as the Jumat prayers were about to start. He recalled seeing three of them, adding that while two sat at the back of the vehicle, only one was seated at the front.

US police officer Darren Wilson - who fatally shot unarmed black teenager Michael Brown in Ferguson - has resigned from the force
His lawyer Neil Bruntrager told US media the resignation was effective immediately.

The St Louis Post-Dispatch newspaper said the 28-year-old Mr Wilson had decided to step down after his police department received threats that violence would follow if he stayed on as an employee.His letter reads

11 passengers, including a mother and her two female children,died in Abak local government area of Akwa Ibom State when a bus conveying passengers from Port Harcourt to Uyo, plunged in river near the Nigerian Army Barracks, Ibagwa.

All, except two of the occupants drowned.It was gathered that the Toyota Hiace bus belonging to To & Fro Transport Company was hit by a Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV) making it to plunged into the river.

Witnesses told The Nation that the SUV was on top speed and its driver was apparently trying to avoid a bad spot leading to its collision with the bus.

The Emir of Kano, Muhammed Sanusi II who was out of Nigeria when the bomb blast at the Central Mosque in Kano occurred, arrived Nigeria today and went straight to the scene of the the attack to assess the situation.

During his 20 minutes visit to the blast scene, the Emir said with the way the attacks were carried out, it showed it was well planned and had taken the perpetrators close to two months to plan it.

"From all indications, they (attackers) have been planning this for at least two months. I have directed that the mosque be washed and cleaned and prayers should continue here. We will never be intimidated into abandoning our religion, which is the intention of the attackers" he said (photo credit: AFP)

In an interview with SaharaReporters, a close associate of former President Olusegun, who asked for anonymity, said there would be “political earthquake” when the former president releases his three-volume autobiography by the middle of December.

The source, who said he is one of a very few circle of people privileged to have looked at the autobiography, disclosed that Mr. Obasanjo comes out swinging at President Goodluck Jonathan, former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, the late President Umaru Yar’Adua, and former Governor James Onanefe Ibori of Delta, among others.
