PHOTOS: Nigeria’s Only Female Governorship Candidate Shines At APC Rally

 

The APC presidential candidate Muhammadu Buhari was in Taraba State for the party’s presidential campaign rally. In Taraba, one woman at the forefront politically is Senator Aisha Jummai Al-Hassan who is the Taraba APC governorship candidate. She is a (current) Senator in the 7th National Assembly representing Taraba North (Senatorial District). She won the APC primaries with a landslide victory of 2425 votes defeating other candidates Ibrahim Tumba, Dr Julde S & Yusuf who polled 18, 5, and 14 votes respectively.
